A Taylor's Chair

Photobucket

I didn't get a name with this drawing only a email so I'm guessing the name began with an A and the second name is Taylor. As soon as 'i fin out the post will change.

I love this Chair, I love the scribbled back ground. The chair was leopard print, I love the attempted spots. I completely understand why they had no continued with the print but (as bad as it sounds) I'm glad they didn't, the few spots that there are gives it more personality.

I was trying to recreate the shape of this chair with ink and a pan brush, obviously I know you could never get the beautiful detail with a pain brush but it really made me appropriate the flow of this drawing even more. I really love how the line on the arm on the left carrying on to the right arm, I just really love how all the lines flow.

Joe's chair

Again, Joe didn't put his name down so I'm not sure of his second name. I really love the white pencil for the lighting. I also really love the lines on the floor, it looks like really harsh shadowing. All these chairs are perfectly drawn.

Laura New's Chair

I made the lines a lot more harsh on photoshop just to exaggerated the amazing scribbling.

Dylan Teague's Chair

Photobucket

I love this chair, It's so beautifully drawn in orange too. It was created by Dylan Teague, I really love the fact it's perfectly drawn then the feet are just scribbled. Probably only because I rushed them when the 10 minutes were up, but is a great effect.

Graham Goldsworthy

Photobucket

This was created by Graham Goldsworth, again I love the shading on this piece and it really looks like there's a harsh light shining on the chair. I also really love the thin dark lines for the legs of the chair and then the softness of the seat it's self.

Joel Hurts' Chair

Photobucket

I really love the harshness from the pencil, this was created by Joel Hurts. As I've said about a million times I love scribbles and I love this, I love how quickly it looks like it's been done. I also love the shading, I am in love with the shading. I also love how the right two legs look neat and the left two not to neat.

Thom Door

Photobucket

This was created by Thom Door, Sorry Thom for ripping up the drawing you did but I love mess and this whole project is in fact about making the biggest mess I can create (ha). I really love the lines on this chair, there almost like shading on a cartoon.  Also the shading on the grown is so bold it's as if the floor is wet.

Catherine Smith

 Photobucket

I went to Milgi once again to get people to help me out with my chair project. But this time it was a life drawing class so I asked if I could interrupt for 10 minutes and get people to draw a chair.

One of the people in the class was Catherine Smith, who drew this amazing chair. She said so her self she was showing off, I love the creativity in this drawing, it's very gothic style with it's mammal feet and bird heads for arm rest. I would own this chair if it was real.
